License agreement to become a member of the IGC

Terms and Conditions of Use

  1. Access rights to users of the site falls into 2 main areas:

    • Public Informational - Interested parties may view all listed coaches on the site and their profile and the coaching feedback of a chosen member.

    • Restricted Users - A client of a member may be given an access number to access and place feedback about only that member. A login access known only to the individual member and the systems administrator is given out at the discretion of each individual member. The IGC accepts no responsibility of responses by clients of members.

  2. Complaints Procedure

    Refer to section 14 below for details of the formal complaint procedure.

  3. Member Control of passwords

    It is the responsibility of each individual member to choose a suitable password and not disclose that password to unauthorized persons.

  4. Current Personal Information

    Each current member has the responsibility to update their personal information. The systems administrator accepts no responsibility for incorrect or misleading information given in respect of membership details.

  5. Fees and Charges

    All fees and charges to become a member of the IGC are payable with the application to become a member. Applications without payment of the annual fee in advanced shall not be processed.

  6. Application to become a member of the IGC

    An application either on-line or by other means to the IGC is not accepted until written confirmation is received from the systems administrator in writing to the potential member. The administrator's decision is final. An appeal process on this decision is available through the independent IGC complaints process.

  7. Permission to carry out police checks

    All potential members must agree as a condition of becoming a member of the IGC to a police check before membership is granted. The administrator reserves the right to carry out police checks at any time thereafter on any current member if central to the values, code of ethics and vision of the IGC.

  8. Security of personal information

    The systems administrator has a secure area on the site for adding any registered members, and also has the authority to remove any undesirable input from clients of members. This is strictly at the discretion of the systems administrator.

  9. Intellectual Property Rights

    The IGC reserves all copyrights and trade mark rights to all the intellectual property rights and related material produced by the IGC.

  10. Liability

    • The IGC accepts no responsibility or liability for material written by clients of members.

    • These terms and conditions should be read in conjunction with the governing law at the time in each member individual country of origin.

  11. Privacy

    The IGC shall not access and give out to any third party any personal or feedback information about any member or client of a member without the prior consent of those persons named. Any permission must be made in writing to the administrator.

  12. Variations of Terms and Conditions

    Updating of information - The IGC reserves the right to update the terms and conditions and codes of ethics with information that it see fit at the time. All current members will be contacted by electronic mail with information regarding any updates or changes. It is the members responsibility to keep their electronic mail information current and relevant.

  13. Breach of contract

    Cancellation of individual membership subscriptions and termination procedures
    Membership to the IGC is by invitation or application. The IGC, however, reserves the right to decline an individual membership application without reason or prejudice. A commitment to the philosophy and principles of holistic coaching principles is required for initial and continuing membership of the IGC, and an acceptance of the ethical principles and code of conduct.

    Any breach of contract by means of a breach of the ethical code of conduct or the above mentioned license agreement terms and conditions will result in a disablement of a member's user name password. Breaches of contract will be notified to the relevant member initially by telephone with a temporary disablement of user name password, and then, if no immediate resolution exists, a permanent disablement will be activated and notified, in writing, within 5 working days of the original notified breach.

    This will result in a permanent termination of license agreement as the individual's membership of the IGC. Any appeal may be addressed to the systems administrator in writing within 5 working days of receiving the written breach of contract. An independent review may be requested at the expense of the terminated member.

    Any membership fees and charges paid prior to a breach of contract in respect of a breach of ethics or terms and conditions are non-refundable.

  14. Complaints Procedures

    Any complaint by a member in respect of the IGC technical system, persons or agents acting for the IGC must be accompanied with a current email address for the administrator to reply. The administrator will forward a reply within XX working days with a plan for action and/or measures to resolve such disputes.

  15. Indemnity and Disclaimers

    The IGC accepts no responsibility from members or any of their clients for decisions made or actions or any such consequences thereon from using the material promoted or used from the IGC website.

Procedures of payment of subscriptions to the IGC

All individuals that apply to become a member of the IGC shall apply on-line on this the IGC website. Once all relevant information has been supplied to the systems administrator, the member shall be notified of an acceptance or decline by electronic mail. All acceptances shall be required to pay the annual membership subscription within 5 (five) working days of membership acceptance. A membership license shall not be granted by the IGC until individual membership payment has been received in full by the IGC. Formal notification shall then be sent to the individual member by electronic mail.
